WAXING

 

Sugar Sugar provide a wide range of waxing services for men and women.  The type of wax used will depend on your treatment, preferences and skin type.  We only use the highest quality products.

We specialise in waxing, including intimate waxing and we know exactly what we're doing.  We also offer eyelash and eyebrow tinting as well as eyelash perming!

 

Sugar Sugar provides great flexibility with appointments available in the daytime and evenings to suit your needs.

Please note: ​

• 24 hours notice is respectfully asked for any cancellations. 

• Client confidentiality is assured at all times.

• Wax takes time to get to temperature - new clients will be required to answer a few pre-wax questions when booking to ensure the most suitable wax is ready for you on arrival. This will be followed up with a more detailed consultation on your first visit.

• It is expected that you will arrive relatively clean and in good hygiene. 

 
A warm welcome awaits all clients ON TIME please - being a home-salon, there are no waiting facilities for early arrivals...and late arrivals may have reduced treatment time.

Sugar Sugar offers a professional waxing service only, inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.

AFTER CARE
 

It is fairly common to have slight areas of soreness and pimple like small bumps following hair removal (the plucked chicken effect), this reaction is quite normal and should subside within 48 hours.  For best results after waxing, please follow these simple guidelines:
 

• Ensure to keep the area clean and avoid the use of products on the area such as soap, shower gel, deodorant, oils or lotions for the first 12 hours.

• Avoid wearing tight clothing for 24 hours.

• Keep out of saunas, steam rooms, jacuzzis and swimming pools for 24 hours and while we're killing the fun, wait another day for that massage as oils are used.

• Avoid exposure to UV light including sunberds and sunbathing for first 24 hours.

• Be sure to exfoliate your skin on a regular basis starting 2 or 3 days after waxing and ensure you moisturise your skin every day to keep it supple and help new hairs to break through (to help avoid ingrown hairs)!
   

* Communication is an essential part of treatment - there are many variations when it comes to bikini waxing, brazilian, hollywood, honeymoon to name but a few, yet these will mean different things to different people. Therefore please be specific about what you want and don't be afraid to ask, but do remember, waxing is all we do!

* Intimate male waxing will require client involvement in terms of stretching and holding.  Please note that only professional waxing services will be provided.
